I loved that novel.
I loved that novel.
There’s unironically a bunch of Appalachian cosmic horror stuff out there. In fact iirc Savage Worlds has a setting for it called Holler and Monte Cook games published a ttrpg for the Old Gods of Appalachia podcast.
Outs of sheer curiosity where do they go after that particular death? Oblivion?
No now that you’ve mentioned it it’s definitely the floor I was just super confused at first.
Lmfao oh fuck, I thought the floor was a countertop, like they were taking a pic from behind an island
Health insurance as $20 a month? Wtf
One is an attempt to overthrow democracy and install a fascist theocratic dictatorship. The other is protesting directly against that. While you may not agree with their methods, which is frankly childish and placing the responsibility for our social climate in the laps of the oppressed, you cannot in good faith smile smugly and say “same”.
My group’s done Oceans, Betrayal at House on the Hill, Arkham Horror LCG, Eldritch Horror, that dungeon boss card game, The Inis, So You’ve Been Eaten, and they’ve all been pretty good. Especially if automated.
I work in an IT call center and only make 25k. It’s a nightmarish routine of answering calls from customers who don’t believe in your basic right to be respected, answering to employers who believe the same.
As I mentioned in another comment, but elaborating further here, there’s a Savage World’s setting that revolves around eldritch horror and rampant corporate industry called Holler.
