  • Now, I can’t speak as to the memes you’ve seen, but I can say, could be worth talking to your healthcare professional about it. But I’d try not to worry about it much until then (especially if it’s only memes making you think this), because a lot of the things us ADHDers do are actually quite “normal”. Happens with a number of mental disorders. A good example would be how being a neat freak or worried about germs doesn’t mean you have OCD. The issue those of us with ADHD have is that we do these “normal” things so excessively that it usually causes us serious complications with life. (Should also add, not everything we do is “normal”, but for the most part, yeah it is.)

Oh ffs. I swear to god we don’t deserve the internet. I literally pointed out that lobsters do die. The reason we can consider em immortal is cos they clean up their telomere damage. You colossal idiot. You’re trying to trip me up and “expose” me, but you can’t even get the fundamentals right…

  • The hydra. There’s a species of worm (pretty sure it’s a flatworm, could be a round one though). Technically, lobsters are too. They also aren’t cos growing their news shells is incredibly taxing and that’s how the old ones usually succumb, but yeah, genetically, they do the whole telomere regeneration shit. Their DNA is like 17yo when they die at age 130. So, yeah.

  • Mkay. So. No, there should be blanket additional testing for these conditions, even if you have already passed the test. Because if you have it for some conditions and not others, it’s not fair for all. Like, if we don’t have testing for autists, it is entirely fair for epileptics to say they don’t need to be tested either. Yeah, it sucks. But it’s necessary to keep us safe as driving is one of the most dangerous things we do. It’s one of the leading causes of death that aren’t “natural”. The article linked even gives examples of how autistic people can sometimes not drive “right”. And I say that as someone living in Australia who is neurodivergant myself and has had to report my conditions to my state driving regulator.

  • I love this app so much. Ran into issues with Poweramp draining my battery and overheating the device. Went back and forth with the dev, we couldn’t figure it out so I moved on. And my god, there is a lot of shite out there. But this app is magic. I use it every day and have never had an issue with it. Everything just makes sense and it is a joy to use.
