Lemmy doesn’t have a large userbase. The few that moved I feel are dedicated here. Most people won’t know what Lemmy is if you ask them or what federated social media is. Alternates aren’t viable for most people.

Yeah I’ve been having issues with innertune and have been using ytm revanced now. The big issue for me is whether or not my innertune history will be merged once I login. I fear it won’t and so haven’t signed in at all.

I’m using the s9 and have been since it came out. The Samsung s series is great. If you get the s23 you won’t have to worry about replacing it anytime soon.

Only issue you will run in to is software updates end after 3 years I think (not sure).

Now idk if thats an issue for you but its the only thing that comes to mind.

When the browser first came out I was on chrome and decided to try ddg and have gotten used to it since. I only got into privacy as a focus after that but ddg still does well AMS works for most things I want.

Also quicker than mull on my poor old phone.
