thats just some petty stuff
I am Rooki Cookie. I am a programmer and i try to help everyone :)
thats just some petty stuff
It got already shut down. So no more MBFC fact checking.
We had never the intention to drop the website. We do not profit at all ( only if you “profit” from online shame and harassment ). I even donate myself to the platform and ocasionally to other open source federated software.
We all are human and arent perfect and cant track everything and all things. Lemmy devs ocasionally ignore us because “big instance bad” and the instability in their recent releases and lack of testing LW is 5 or 6 versions now back? Because we dont want to rush and if we make a wrong step with upgrading it causes a blackout on lemmy. Additionally we have some tweaks that we want to backport when we upgrade, that moderation doesnt get hurt by upgrading.
I guess there could be just a script before deployment.
Comments should be removed before shipping.
Not a news article about it but here is a video showing you how it works/what happens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJ_g9YfnjHQ
Never allow “Send notification” permission for “Bot verification purposes”. I heard a new type of fake “Captcha” where you need to execute a script ( with Windows + R and then pressing enter ) that will just execute a script and run malware.
About https://codeberg.org/ArtisanByteCrafter/pytube-gui/issues/7 Would it be ok if i try the playlist integration or do you want to do your things first?
Works pretty good but basic error handling is missing. I made a issue and a PR for it already. My first try at streamlit.
Haves a heart attack

Edit: I am sorry, about my emotional decision i reinstated @Eevoltic and @[email protected] as mods After researching myself, many non scientific sites say its not healthy and some say its unethical, one (1) research paper says it is at least NOT unhealthy, but it has few points of data and i didnt found any other scientific paper about this…
and do you loose randomly the authenticator codes too?
Why do we need it removed?
you get the Lemmy.world Silver for making the longest “feedback” as many would say. About how bad MBFC is.
But still no alternative or improvement ideas. So i guess we will have to stick to MBFC if there is no one with any ideas.
I did not remova any comments? Those removed comments are renoved by mods of the community.
But the issue is there is no other alternative that has an ordered and automatable access.
Then the other option was to have a community made “source” but that brings up the issue with “User x is not fit to contribute”, “Remove the bad rating on site xyz.com” etc. tadah back to the start with the “crying” ablut topic x.
We are still working on such an system as this could at least reduce the shitstorm about having no option to alter the rating. But its not final that decision.
This is for admins to see easier vote manipulation. I think mods can see that on their communities too.
For admins its like… they could literally just look into the database, so it doesnt make any difference. Mods in the other hand should rather not snoop around i guess.
This tool just simplifies the process instead of creating an open federated instance yourself and see the votes.
