Quickly skimming Wikipedia Orthopoda (now synonymous to Ornithischia, bird hips) was coined in 1866. Birds from dinosaurs as an idea kinda gain traction during 1868. It was during 1870s when the famous full Archaeopteryx fossil was found is when it really get cemented. Missed it just by a few years.
Just this morning I tried to make Outlook on my work laptop to open on startup. I have to find and add a shortcut of Outlook, buried somewhere in the machine, to the startup folder, buried somewhere else in the machine. The startup apps settings menu was just an eclectic list of programs and is of no use at all.
With Mint on my home machine I just go to startup programs settings menu and I can add whatever I want just by pointing it to the right program. It just works.
The side eye in the last one. Too real.
Honey. Nut. Cheerio!
It has got me in some hot waters doing this lol
I mean if you want to suck the fun out of it only 4/22 of horseshoe crab species survived.
Saying any species not evolving for millions of years is a misnomer anyway. A living fossil only superficially resemble ancient species. Since both nautilus and horseshoe crabs are considered living fossils I thought it’s a fair comparison.
But this is a silly little comic ultimately about the existential dread of modern human life so this level of pedantry isn’t needed.
