Ugh - thanks for that jerkoff-to-rosecolored-performative-patriotism-earworm-garbage memory. >:(
Put the snek and slogan on a pride flag!
Is it significant, statistically or otherwise, that 2/5ths of the named people (not counting the linked list b/c I’m lazy) are either certifiably insane or confirmed pederasts? (both in one case?)
If you told me that Kennedy shared his brain worm with Kanye, I’d not be the least surprised: “yeah, that tracks.”
Just the one shithole country, actually
Is it the governor or the legislature/board of canvassers?
Same thing we do with .local - “click here to proceed (unsafe)” :D
Set up my work’s network waay back on NT4. 0 as .local cuz I was learning and didn’t know any better, has been that way ever since.
I think, not to put words in anyone’s mouth, that this person is looking for Greek or Roman Senate-levels of debate on the philosophies of democracy and an “elevated discourse”. I’d imagine they think all this we’re concerned with (you know, the future of democracy in the U. S.) is pedestrian.
Kind of: “iam14andverysmart” material.
See, I think some advisor said “we gotta say something about this DoJ antitrust thing with Google and take credit for it.” And Dementia Don the 34-time convicted felon who can’t be assed to pay attention to anything that isn’t attached to his daughter’s chest, heard: “Google wants justice” (or something; I can’t get my head that far up my own ass to see things from his PoV)
No, I just straight-up messed it up. Electoral-vote.com
Yeah, I’m a fan of web 1.0. Everything went off the rails after that. ;)
I think the bigger issue this time is the potential for distributing the violence to smaller markets, so to speak - polling places, county clerk’s offices, secretaries of state, even state houses when they vote to certify their state results.
Gotta plug electoral-vote.com Aggregators of ev polling. Lefty as hell in commentary, but dead neutral in the math.
Credit @saigot for catching my screwup, edited to correct url.
This is exactly what is being done. My eldest child is in a Ph. D. program for human - robot interaction and medical intervention, and has worked on image analysis systems in this field. They’re intended use is exactly that - a “first look” and “second look”. A first look to help catch the small, easily overlooked pre-tumors, and tentatively mark clear ones. A second look to be a safety net for tired, overworked, or outdated eyes.
I don’t disagree, but yet he has done all of those things and still roughly 50% of the electorate looks at him and says: “yeah, this is still the guy to run the country.”
I thought about this. Trumpet dgaf about rules. If he did, we wouldn’t be facing the threat of the end of democracy as we know it. On one hand, sure, changing out this shitheel for another shitheel could open him up to attacks from his own side about being “weak like Biden” or flip-flopping or whatever. But nothing will penetrate his cult’s fog, a replacement with less obvious baggage could help, and again, he dgaf about the rules.
His ONLY concern is shutting down all the cases against him, and staying out of prison.
If the complete tat is along the lines of: “it’s better to be tried by 12 than carried by 8”, it’s been familiar to law enforcement circles (which circles the drain with ex-military, so not surprising) for a long time. When I was in college in a criminal justice program, several instructors repeated this over and over (except I believe it was “… carried by 6”.
I didn’t stay in that program, BTW.
Is there any eli5 guides to things like f-Droid or the other platforms(?) (it used to be called ‘rooting’, don’t know what it is now) to be able to install LibreTube? Following the faq link from github, I see 3 download options, one I recognize as f-Droid, and 2 others.
I realize this should be “android 101”, but my ability to problem solve stuff like this is slipping away from me. (protect your brain, kids!).
I looked for a replacement for my Chrysler minivan for quite a while. (I’ve driven them since 2000, so I was a bit out of the loop). I wanted awd, and ideally seating for 7. But I also had a love for the grand Cherokee. Well, the pre-current-body-style models; they’re fuck-ugly now. Drove a bunch of different suv’s and finally settled on the Subaru Ascent Limited. Technically 7-passenger if you really don’t like 3 people, but I plan on leaving the back row stowed most of the time, giving me almost as much room as my old van behind the 2nd row seats. Wonderful to drive.
I’d suggest the Chrysler Pacifica as a possibility, but don’t want to make an enemy of anyone. :P
