Can I get a more jpegified version?
Right? For me the free as in freedom always had the upside and downside of people have the freedom to use it how they want. Within the very lenient license which might be in use of course. This can include the freedom to do things with the software which the creators and contributors might not agree with or like.
But in the end a certain trust in humanity and the concept of freedom itself mean that we believe the net sum of making your software free will be positive for everyone. And to this day I haven’t managed to become enough of a cynic to change my mind on this.
Its possible to dicuss licenses which helps prevent certain abuse cases. In fact those already exist. However people talk like this is the main issue of FOSS which I don’t think it is at all.
Reminds me of all the people who believe commercials and advertising doesn’t work on them. Sure, that’s why billions are spent on it. Because it doesn’t even do anything. Oh it only works on all the other people?
That’s why it is so hard to get that stuff regulated. People believe it doesn’t work on them.
They have already been canceled.
Some games have so much setup required that it cuts too deep into the game time.
Imo Gloomhaven is only worth playing if you can leave everything on the table in the basement until the next session.
Same. I got his book as an ebook and read it. It offers some decent if simple advice and draws some really weird and false conclusions in other places. But overall it isn’t a bad book and I never felt like he argued on bad faith. But eventually I decided I don’t agree with his views overall.
Later he went a bit weird eating only meat and making weird arguments so idk. But before that I totally understood how he could suck people into the right wing bubble.
Online or offline multi-player?
As for couch coop Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends is some of the most fun I ever had with friends gaming.
As if this game didn’t already have a ton of content and variety. Awesome.
I just realized I don’t know how I hold y mouse.
I was a bit worried that if might come across as that. But it’s more about sharing a positive story I think.
I’m not giving those away. Too many memories.
I’m moving to Pathfinder 2e anyways after this campaign ends. I do still own another copy of the PHB which my daughter uses for her games. So I’ll have to break the news to her that we have to share that one now. And one of my players agreed to lend me his monster manual for now.
That was the main reason I posted this. I thought I would enjoy seeing this on here.
If it has anything close to the impact dnd had on me it’d be amazing.
Both sound pretty metal.
