the new steam sucks hardcore. I hate everything to do with it. It’s buggy, it lags, you can’t use themes, it crashes randomly, it memory leaks. Heck it was suck bad performance that they pushed the beta back multiple times before finally releasing it and its still not ready.
I feel like ads in lemmy would be a hard to implement thing, it would need to be done on the instance level… and people would just jump ship to another instance that didn’t have ads. it’s possible that it could post ads as posts that get federated but it sounds like an amazing way to potentially get your instance defederated in concern that it’s going to devolve to constant spam.
I’ve been told if you do all four insurance might be more apt to cover it, best to do one to three of them that way it might not be covered

Nothing makes sense about this, how can anyone understand this. I think I will stick with standard RegExp. It’s short, it’s simple yet complex at the same time. And it gets the job done
I limited my shopping on Amazon the last few years. Too many “deals” that are the same during prime day as off. Like I was looking at a set of weights, was 199 now 99, they have been 99 for the last month now, the “deal” is now changed to “prime day exclusive” and price stayed the same. Yea… definitely prime day exclusive… definitely worth actually browsing the platform for these sales.
I actively avoid sites that do this, if I find that I’m on the site enough to Warrant getting the app I’ll get the app. I actually didn’t realize that Reddit enforced this until about 5 or 6 months ago because they didn’t enforce that when I first started using reddit, I had already moved over to third party applications before they implemented the system. Not that it matters much anymore, I uninstalled any apps I had for the platform and blocked it for the house. I’m done with it
I just don’t buy anything with bright LEDs, if it doesn’t require it to function then I don’t want it if they want to add useless indicators to something that doesn’t need it then they don’t need my business
if it has access to health it likely has sleep schedule already
it 100% did, google removed over half the twitter links on its index due to dead links/login requirements, which if kept like that would basically kill all Twitter traffic since most traffic comes from search engines
that’s super cool, almost zero use case but if you have a super sensitive string (such as a bank or wallet code) I guess it’s a good layer of offline security
I’m not sure how I did it but, my steam opens in windowed mode, It might be grandfathered from the previous UI though cause I don’t see where I could have set that up.
