This is a cycle (and self-fulfilling prophecy) that we have to break. Voter apathy is the problem, and solving that would force politicians to work for us or be replaced by someone who will. These people like their power and know that no one will replace them. If we show up and make them know that their job is literally dependent on working for us, they’ll do it. But something something both sides, something something voting is pointless.

Not with that attitude it doesn’t! We’ve got shields to tell the air pressure how to behave.

It gets so boring

It starts so boring. I barely made it through the first season and some of the second. It was sooooooo fucking dull that I gave up on it around the time what’s his name dies in the desert.

Over 1/3 of our voting population sits out every election (probably double that in non-presidential years). If even half of them showed up to vote, they’d see how much their vote matters, and why republicans go out of their way to suppress voter turnout.

Just about any multiplayer game. I generally don’t like playing with randos (why would I want to listen to a 12 yo squeal in my ear that they fucked my mother in a pitch only dogs can hear?), and most of my friends don’t play games I’m interested in.

Honestly, Black Flag is the only AC game I ever come back to. I enjoyed 1 and 2, and 3 was ok, but BF was the pinnacle of the series (only partially because of the ship combat).

I’d love a game that’s just the pirate ship parts, that was easily the best part. Setting up supply lines, capturing ships and sinking hunters. Good times.
