Wonder if he got this advice from his dog
Subjectification. People normalise what’s normal for them.
I like very early morning because I feel like it’s the best of both worlds. Usually nobody awake so no people, but there’s still sun.
I relate to this so much. Throw in trauma and my nervous system is running on overdrive.
This is the most effective strategy I have for managing my adhd.
To network and make side deals.
Nothing justifies bombing children. Noone’s ‘right to defend themselves’ should include this.
Wait so I thought this was a thing in the US because of all the Christofascists. Does the UK also have a christofascist thing going on? Or is this just kind of an everything goes culture war bullshit thing?
If Argentina votes in the anarcho-capitalist guy who gets policy advice from his dogs (technically one dog that’s been cloned several times) then this will really take the cake for darkest timeline.
Really glad Germany has criminalised nazi symbols. I’m curious to see how this plays out in this situation. My country is in the early stages of banning nazi symbols and people keep coming up with the same shitty takes like “but I like it when nazis let me know who they are” and “why do we need to ban shit, people just shouldn’t be nazis”.
This is the country that gave us existential and post-structural philosophy. What kind of culture war bullshit is going down in France right now?
My same foods kind of determine my diet for me.
I get your point but I don’t think you’ve ever been a world leader in any of these things.
Fucksayke America can you please just not with another war. I’m sorry if this is offensive but you have some fucking bloodthirsty warmonger cunts in your country. No doubt financed by the military industrial complex.
Your fascist cookers funded our fascist cookers during this referendum campaign lol.
How much time have you got? I guess the biggest factor is that referendums are hard to pass in Australia, especially when the campaign becomes partisan. And this one was VERY partisan. But also Australia has a particular type of racist ignorance when it comes to our First Nations Peoples and our colonial history in general. We’re now currently the only settler colonial nation that has not recognised its First Nations Peoples in their constitution. Settler colonialism is not a competition, but if it was Australia kind of wins the gold. I say that as a white Australian.
I have both and experience sensory issues differently. The autistic sensory issues are definitely more significant and impactful. Like my brain just cannot process things once it gets overwhelmed, sometimes it’s painful and feels like my head is going to burst. ADHD sensory issues are more attention based, so I don’t get overwhelmed in the same way, just frustrated and less able to control my executive function. I can also get hyperfixated on a specific thing, whereas with autism it just becomes all one big overwhelming stream of data that I can’t process.
I’m honestly surprised by this because doesn’t Finland have like one of the best public education systems in the world? I’ve always thought strongly funded and accessible education is like the antidote to fascism, but it seems it’s much more complex than that. Fascists just always know how to push the right buttons to exploit people’s fears.
I was thinking about this as well. It technically happened in a workplace so I’m also wondering if Australian workplace laws apply here.
Gonna throw a hat in the ring here for the British Empire as the king of genocide.
