I woke up this morning in a bit of a panic because I didn’t remember doing yesterday. It’s crazy how routine this has become. I’ve started picking out games that look interesting purely because I want to share them and my opinion

The article reminds me of this video I saw on Ladders in Halo CE. It’s interesting to see such a dedication to an otherwise mundane topic. It makes it interesting in its own right I suppose

It’s a lot of little things. The lighting is a little different, controls, the UI, the tutorial world, even some of the content available. There’s some more but those are the major ones. It’s just got a different feel to it and some different content I favor more. I still love Java, but it’s also its own thing to me

I played a little against bots but I didn’t get a chance to play an actual death match game. It was fun what little I did play though

It feels weird to look at. Like. When I started it was just me sifting through my backlog of old screenshots going “this would be fun to share with people” and it’s basically grown from that too a whole mini write up on different games spanning almost 2 years. It’s a hell of a thing to look back on

The game is, yes. The achievements though are baked into RetroArch and connect to Retro Achievements. It’s a really fun thing to follow. I’d suggest trying it if achievements are your thing

They’re achievements! I keep forgetting the screenshot function captures them but they’re icons telling me what achievements I can grab at that point in time. Super handy but annoying sometimes when it gets cluttered

I almost ended up cheating it in too. I ended up going “well. I’ll put some music on and just sail down the river once with the fishing rod. If I find something then great. Otherwise? I don’t have the time for this”

The only thing I like Milotic for is that it’s pretty. But god. From now on I might just cheat it in because holy fuck that’s a nightmare to do

Damn, i’m not a big HS/SS fan so of course that’s the game without the limit lmao. I just finished my dex and moved everything over today using pkhex, if i had known it wasn’t limited on HS/SS though i might have looked more into it

I have fun doing these, even if I don’t offer as much content as the other people that are doing screenshots (I admire them for that, I’ve seen just how much planning can go into these).

In a way I like leaving a trail for people to follow and look at for game ideas. Hearing people say they learned about a game through me or decided to try one because of me makes me happy in a way I guess, because I feel like I got to broaden someone’s horizons a little and that’s a good thing. So basically, I like that I’m helping others

I had no idea the Pal Park was so limiting. Damn. I’ve just been using PKHex/PKSm to move them over since I don’t have any legit copies I can use

Does the cigar actually hurt you? The description said it’s bad for your health so don’t smoke very often, so I took that as just don’t smoke at all

It really gets confusing where to go, which I both like and don’t like. It’s fun getting lost but man, when you just want to get through the story it gets confusing

Phone emulators were a godsend before I had my first computer. I had an old iPhone 5 and used GBA4iOS to play through all of emerald. I think the guy who made it is still around, so I owe him a fuck ton of thanks. He literally made so much of my early gaming experience possible

It’s been a lot of fun. I know I’m not as detailed as some of the other people who do similar posts but I just have fun talking about what I’m doing and sharing with others. At the very least I’m pleased in knowing that im introducing people to new things

I’ve considered it a few times. I used to run a YouTube channel when I was younger and really enjoyed it. My Wi-Fi isn’t great though for streaming and I don’t think I have the time for it without getting burnt out fast.

I do have a peertube though where I upload clips rarely! Usually it’s just to share clips with friends but it’s not really a secret. I don’t upload to it a lot because I use Steam’s built in clip function and for some reason i can’t set it to separate Game Audio from everything else on Linux. Plus the Microphone audio is layered over the same track as everything else so I can’t take my voice out of it. I would like to backup some of my stuff there though so I might just upload some of the stuff anyways

I can see it. Especially with the GBA entries
