Is there a fix planned for the old sorting for comments not working on some/all Lemmy instances ? Or is entirely a Lemmy issue

Isn’t the issue lies on the fact that you cannot moderate what’s posted on other instances but you have to store everything because you’re federated ?

I agree. This is one thing that is too much akin to how things work on Reddit.
On Lemmy having 10+ accounts is not really exceptional and backuping/restoring each time you change one settings is not sustainable
At that point we would be able to hop in the beta on the play store right ?
There are a lot of bugs related to comments on Lemmy right now
And also in this case it’s maybe due to the comment coming from another instance and it’s not sync yet
It should already be the case.
It will use your default browser, even for custom tabs (as firefox does offer its own implementation).
For incognito the option exists if you use chrome based on a flag but not sure firefox offers the same possiblity
post you suggestion on github if you want to make sure that they are added to the dev’s backlog
Right now if you change from the default comment sorting (Hot) it will bug. You have to stay with Hot for comments to work properly
The ad free fee need to covers the lost of revenue that not having ads for the user will cause. There are probably not enough users on both Lemmy and on Sync yet for that. That’s why you cannot compare the fee for Reddit and the one for Lemmy
