If you use the default piped instance then it’s usually overloaded. You can either try finding an alternative or just host your own, personally I do the ladder I rented a VPS for 20 bucks a month and I host my own pipe there

There is libretube for using piped as an app on Android
I’ll happily download 63928 depends so long as it continues to work. And it does, unlike python projects that also download 2352 depends but in the process brick every other python program on your system
This, I have been using it for many many years. I wouldn’t call it perfect but it’s better than the other options in my opinion
I can however, store my entire life history of notes and shopping lists inside the sd card
If we didn’t already have the perfect option that is bitwarden I would probably go for this. But there’s really no reason to switch away from bitwarden to this. It’s open source, gets regularly publicly audited, and nothing ever leaves your device unencrypted. So even if they had their data center broken into and all machines stolen physically I wouldn’t have to worry about my passwords
As a husky owner i feel this for different reasons. Fur, fur everywhere always forever
Now I just need to wait 6 months for all of my mods to catch up so that the game doesn’t explode when I try to load my save༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
Id hardly call that a user fucking things up, that’s not even good on paper. Those are a retarded pair of things to have next to one another regardless of any coloring on them. Especially with the same handles
I hate %, give me a option to round up to the nearest 5. This is useful for my financial tracking, and I’m willing to bet a lot of people would like nice round numbers. If I buy a coffee or whatever and it’s $7 I round up to $10, not because I’m trying to give a good tip but because it’s more convenient for me when I’m sitting there doing my finances (I track everything) and while I know that not everyone would universally agree maybe they would only want to round up to the nearest whole dollar the fact remains I feel like most places would actually end up with more total tips overall if that was a one button option
Anyone know the original source for the frame?
The metal grid is nowhere near fine enough for microplastics. It’s like trying to filter out a car through gaps the size of the grand canyon
obviously still better than not doing it but it’s just annoying and frustrating because they don’t make any out of stainless steel construction at least not that I can find. I was able to get stainless steel food grade corrugated piping because they use it in the Solar industry for solar hot water heating. Finding true stainless steel faucets instead of just stainless coated brass is possible although a little bit expensive. I’ve gone stainless for pretty much everything in the kitchen, including reusable straws as well as leftover food containers both the container and the lid. Because it seems to be basically the only material not actively attempting to kill us in some way.
So it’s not as if I’m not actively reducing my exposure to it as much as possible, but it’s really frustrating how impossible it is to escape from entirely
And there’s not even really anything you can do about it. Reverse osmosis should be able to get rid of microplastics but the fucking containers for the filters are plastic and the lines running between them are plastic so they’re just going to reintroduce microplastics even after filtering!
There was a recent study showing that boiling water could actually break down and remove a surprising number of microplastics so I guess for making tea you might be a little better off but still
The problem is that Americans pay both taxes and these outrageous rates for medical. People throw around the oh it’s just in your taxes as if Americans don’t also pay taxes. Ours just get wasted on useless fucking defense contracts
You can still find them using internet archive people were archiving them
I mean to be fair it’s still terrible. Better than the early days and in my opinion better than using Reddit which is why I’m here. But basic functionality is just awful. Trying to discover new content outside of your particular instances incredibly tedious. So many large instances won’t stop trigger happy Banning practically every other goddamn instance out there which isn’t helping. The whole thing that originally made Reddit popular was that it was an easy place to go to find almost any topic of Interest but I now have to hunt through many different instances to potentially find what I’m looking for on top of that the community for any one particular interest could easily be scattered across multiple different instances that don’t Federate with each other and if I subscribe to all of them I’m going to likely be subjected to a lot of repeating posts
I fully understand why a lot of people were not on board with that I put up with it because I hate Reddit more than I hate that but a lot of people will not share that opinion
There’s no such thing as flushable wet wipes. They might not clog your particular pipes but they do not break down in water. They can’t because then they wouldn’t be able to be wet. They contribute to massive clogs in the sewer systems that people have to go down and break up honestly it should be illegal to sell them
Also we do have the ability to re-utilize waste in different types of reactors until it is essentially entirely spent. There is a complete cycle available. Nobody talks about it though because you know, not as cost-effective
