I’d try going to itch.io and joining a game jam. They will usually give you a theme to work around and it’s a great way to learn stuff. Every time I try to do one I try something new.

Don’t worry that you used a tutorial or assets. Still a good accomplishment
Pressing Shift+Esc to mark everything as read sometimes fixes this issue.
This was an excellent video and very timely. I have a lot of 2D under my belt but was just starting to dabble in 3D.
