What? Should we standardize computers so everyone has the same processing power?
At the same time, there’s no reason why they couldn’t upgrade to something else. You can do everything a graph calculator does on your cellphone using websites…
I thought it was pretty well accepted that it’s basically “Genetic defects happen, sometimes they don’t prevent reproduction and pass down to the next generation, then it’s a lottery, maybe it will last, maybe it won’t, maybe it’s beneficial, maybe it isn’t 🤷”
Maybe at some point a human was born with knees that would never wear out but they died before having the chance to reproduce from being eaten by a tiger, we’ll never know!
1·24 days agoYep, Windows 8 had a mobile/tablet version.
I also mentioned in another comment that they could simply do the same thing as with the Deck, have it start with a handheld/controller friendly UI (hmmm where could Microsoft’s Xbox division find that?) and give the option to switch to regular old Windows to do desktop stuff. It’s not as if playing on the desktop without a mouse and keyboard attached to the Deck is a fun experience either!
They haven’t done anything to adapt it to handheld controls and a small screen
Their competition is the Deck and other handhelds that run full versions of Windows, there’s no reason to believe they wouldn’t give it the same kind of capacities (i.e. a real handheld PC) in which case it’s the Deck that will feel like a walled garden considering that not all games are compatible and not all launchers work on it.
I say that as a Deck owner that plays with it pretty much once a day.
Called it months ago, they’ll develop a handheld version of Windows and have their own handheld!
If the controller feels as good as my Elite 2 then I’m sold

From a governmental point of view, both extremes are responsible for multiple genocides so I’m not even sure which is which in your comment 🤔

Because saying “A square 14m x 14m” is too confusing somehow… I hate when they do it for huge surfaces though, like for forest fires as people don’t comprehend big numbers like “100 000 football fields”, but they sure can understand that 100km is a long distance so a 100km x 100km square is fucking huge.
