Yes, we are that starved for kindness.
Look at you Mr. Fancy Pants using Windows.
Data confirms that it was around the same time Tipper Gore got triggered.
Fine. I won’t pick a side. I won’t crucify anyone without evidence. So…release the transcripts. That seems like the logical step.

Huge!!! The main reason I stopped buying from GOG was their lack of cloud gaming support.
I not sure if this helps you at all but I use Pop!_OS on a Thinkpad with touchscreen. On it I do A LOT of PDF work, including forms and signatures. I have had no problems at all in four years of it being my main system.
Note: I do not use pressure sensitive stylus inputs like the Wacom or iPads use.
We all know that what grandpa is actually hearing is a flood of racist and homophobic slurs along with explicit explanations of some twelve year old’s sexual escapades with grandpa’s mom.
My first choice is Pop!_OS because my graphics cards are NVidia, but you said that you don’t like their DE. My second choice is LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition). It is boring and stable and gets out of your way.
It looks like someone in that thread responded with a solution.
Apple gets a free service that would cost an insane amount of money if they were to pay API fees or build their own data centers and models…
All true.
OpenAI gets free advertising by being included in millions of Apple devices.
Also true but woefully incomplete. They also get millions of Apple devices and users to train their models at no cost. When I say you are the product, I mean that Apple sold access to you and everything you do to OpenAI in exchange for OpenAI functionality at no extra charge. I have no doubt that Apple will make a best efforts to anonymize data, but OpenAI absolutely will have deep access.
Because the end user is the product.
As one example of how the US has opted to not divest from progress. The same applies to American infrastructure. The US was very aggressive for many years, then stopped. Stopped investing in science, space, infrastructure, etc. and chose to rely almost entirely on the private sector. In return, we have wasted at least a thirty year lead.
I would like to point out that the Arecibo radio telescope collapsed after many years of neglect and lack of proper funding.
It made me think of this old Michael Keaton movie, “My Life”, in which he leaves a treasure trove of video tapes to his unborn child.
I love that they left the AI body horror intact.
LMDE (Linux Mint Debian Edition) is a wonderful self-hosting platform.
