Back tap is pretty sick, I have it set up to trigger my flashlight

How are the false positives when using your phone and the notification shade? Sometimes I’ll get false positives holding my phone resting against a hard surface and blast whatever’s behind it

If it’s any consolation, “one handed mode” (at least on pixels) has an option to let you bring the shade down by swiping down on the gesture bar

Swiping down on the fingerprint scanner was my favorite thing on my pixel 5, for checking notifications or fidgeting with it! I was a little bummed when I eventually upgraded, but found that and it works relatively well

I could gladly listen to a song 5000 times, but when Spotify stops shuffling my playlist and plays the same 15 songs on repeat every day for a month I start to notice and get a little bothered! Don’t get me started on enhanced shuffle, either

As far as I can tell, it probably only did some damage on the inside. No visible dents on the outside and it doesn’t feel out of balance as far as I can feel

I think it entered at the perfect angle to not stab straight through the wheel, I’m sure if it was pointed in a slightly different direction I’d be buying a new wheel!

I wish they would fix the absolutely tiny area you need to tap in order to get to the weather in the built in At A Glance! Yeah, you know, the one that if you tap 4 pixels too low, 3 pixels too far to the right, or 8 pixels too far left it opens your calendar?

And while I’m on the topic, is it just me or does it feel like the tap targets on all of the Gboard keys are spread out and in weird spots? It makes me misspell words all the time because I keep hitting the wrong letters!

Their videos are pretty good, they have cheesy intros but the rest of the video is usually pretty good

My Gboard started doing that when I type normally!

I gave up using swipe typing because it loves to pick words I never say, have never said, and will never say (especially not in the context of the rest of the sentence, that Gboard knows about and will offer (incorrect) corrections on)

At first I was confused because Tennessee is a lot of mountains, so them getting covered with water was surprising

Then I saw Italy

I had a yellow jacket fly out of the blue then land on my heel and sting me for absolutely no reason! There wasn’t even a nest nearby!

Then a week later another yellow jacket landed on my arm and stung me right under my watch band

I personally like AI in its current state, still goofy and not a valid replacement for people. I definitely don’t like that all of these corporations are justifying their billions in spending by forcing it into any and every app they can think of!

Why do I need Gemini to suggest a list of items I’m gonna need in my notes app that I likely opened to create a list of things I knew I already needed?

At least with Google messages, you can still send normal SMS if your RCS chat can’t go through. I think there’s an option for it to automatically resend as SMS if RCS fails, too.

I guess there’s no way of knowing if SMS will eventually drop out of fashion, but it would be good to keep around so it probably will stay around as a back up

They tried making SpeedScript but big programming decided it was too fast for its time and shut it down
