Trump has been strong on his opinions on both Ukraine and Palestine, and his opinions were fucking terrible.
Those that didn’t vote against that are a problem.
I do a lot of photography and I share it on my deviant art page.

Having your bare feet in the grass feels so goddamn good and I’m tired of pretending that it doesn’t feel great
It’s not the size that counts, it’s how you use it.
My Mini Factory is primarily where I get mine (if you want a list of users I primarily buy mine)
Cults3D is another place but they’re a lot more hit and miss on quality IMO
The best models are purchased models (in general) though MZ4250 on Printables models are free and also pretty high quality.
Personally I won’t pirate models of people in the 3D printing mini community as I want to support the creators in that space as they’re not giant megacorps.
Here’s a link to that speedy bois wikipage for those curious.
One thing I would recommend though is if you have some hobbies try to find beginner friendly communities for those hobbies as they are usually super positive and helpful, and they’ll give you the chance to be that as well.
Personally I found helping people dive into the stuff I’m interested in was a massive boost to my mental health.
There’s just something wonderful about it that I really can’t explain.
They mostly turn into crabs in a bucket communities because the ones that stick around long term in those communities are usually the doomer types.
Or at least that was my experience with it years ago.
My best advice is to avoid those communities as I found they only made my mental health worse rather than better.
This is the one that breaks my brain
I’d say that consuming content that only confirms your biases is a form of failing media literacy as you’re failing to see the biases inherent to the content you’re consuming. There’s the flaw of “I think it’s this way” seeking out that content and not seeing that it’s poorly sourced (if at all) and eating it up.
Not to mention the role that content suggestion algorithms play in reinforcing that behavior and providing you with even more content along the lines of the biases you’re reinforcing.
It’s a complicated can of worms for sure.
The funeral industry (in a nutshell) is hella expensive
Cost of the plot, scheduling, cost of a casket, prepping the deceased, if there’s anything special there’s that cost as well, etc
There’s a reason I tell my family that when I die, cremate me and put my remains in a coffee can. If you wanna schedule some kind of event do it completely removed from the funeral parlor.
I’m still working on this one
I’ve gotten a lot better at it but damn do I have room for improvement (I need to dodge “nap mode” more often IMO)
I’d say I’m about 60% successful at it currently
The ability to start and finish a task is pretty cool
The ability walk out of a room to grab something and remember what I was planning to grab is also pretty cool
I feel fucking seen by this post
It rings right to my core
It really is, the average time loss injury in our company is usually upwards of 30k down the drain. And just an accident can be catastrophic in terms of cost as well.
A BBQ compared to that is nothing.
Less than Truck Load
Basically if a company want to ship pallets of crap but they don’t have enough to justify using their own truck
Think TForce, YRC, Oak Harbor, FedEx Freight, etc.
I suddenly feel like the crypt keeper
With a large enough workplace in the wrong industries it’s really easy to have something that could count against it.
I work in the LTL freight industry, we get quite a few.
I work in the LTL freight industry, if we go 30 days without an accident or an injury we get a free BBQ day with unlimited food for everyone. We’re talking burgers, hotdogs, chilli, chowder, chips, drinks, etc. Sometimes they even do catering. Our last one they did Hawaiian Food for 2 days (they got too much) which definitely made everyone happy.
I’ve been there for almost 10 years, we average about 2 per year.
Edit to clarify: 2 BBQs per year. We’re really good as getting hurt.
This exactly
Especially considering trump’s opinion on them and Israel’s stance on the election (wanting a trump victory) those should have been major red flags about a trump victory if you cared about Palestinians.
Voting the lesser evil is often how politics works. You pick the candidate you yu hate the least and try to mobilize more people in the future to get the policies you want.
