More should be done to combat stereotypes and promote the idea that dads are competent parents who are integral to emotional and mental etc development of their children.
Right out of the dictatorship playbook (like Maduro claiming the US is at fault for the entire Venezuelan economic crisis)

GooseGang [she/her]@beehaw.orgto Anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com•How do you meet other anarchists irl?1·16 days agoIt just sounds like a polity to organize socially without a specific purpose. The idea in and of itself is helpful to promote social and mental well-being.

GooseGang [she/her]@beehaw.orgto Food and Cooking@beehaw.org•I like bacon alot and uhhhhh 42·22 days agoTasty!! I doubt for me it would take 15 minutes, but it sounds like a good use of the bacon crunchies and fat
Congrats with the positive changes! I don’t miss my old job with coworkers like that at all. It’s good you’re trying to keep in touch with your friend, but it’s a two way street. A salt water spray can help a ton with ear piercing healing after the initial healing phase.

GooseGang [she/her]@beehaw.orgto Food and Cooking@beehaw.org•I like bacon alot and uhhhhh 41·22 days agoDoes that cause any issues? I can’t imagine the microwave cleanup to be a walk in the park.
Would you ever consider a Chuffed fundraiser or something of the sort? I know some restaurants in Texas donate their food when they close, and there are non-religious food banks, but I’m not sure how helpful that would be when the main issue seems to be fixing the electric enough so to be able to move abroad.
