It only rains like a dozen times a year. I’ve got some decent work on the ground for my garden, there’s worms even! But I don’t have the time or water to really do several acres. I just kill invasives and water the natives. I have tons of native desert wild flowers but I still need to kill like an acre of buffle grass(I think that’s what its called, super hardy invasive African grass). I have a lot of native seeds for larger plants and trees that I’m going to sow and hope they grow after I leave.

What are you confused about? Some cars I’ve owned cannot go off road, maybe a bumpy dirt road here and there. Other cars I have owned I bought specifically because I needed them to go where there isn’t pavement or even a road. They get a lot dirtier and need cleaning just to stay functional.

My parents never gave me money unless I worked for it and washing their cars was one of those few things they did pay me to do. I remember always having to scrub bugs off the front, it was the hardest part. I’ve literally never washed my road cars because its just dust.

I’m super introverted but like socializing. It just takes a lot of energy. So only one party a week, and I’m probably going to leave early. The fewer the people the longer I can go though. Like camping a whole weekend with a few other people is fun. But alone time is a core need.

Its purely aesthetics. They put it in because like a third of the “city” (like 5k people) is abandoned so they want to go on to those properties to cut everything down. Which is dumb because you have to poison the invasive weeds that are here to kill them. They just pop right back up if you cut them. But I guess thats how they keep the money coming in, they charge like $400 per hour. I manage my garden, its far away from the road, I pull or poison any invasives. But I let native plants grow. Old people just see plants that aren’t perfectly manicured and call the city. And nobody has lawns here, they want the entire city to just be bare gravel.

I hope the city has figured out by now I’m not cutting my “weeds”. Gave me shit last year. The ordinance is so vague and allows the city to just go onto your property and cut everything down and bill you for the time. I fucking dare them.

With those small numbers of concentrated effort vs the wide reach general polls, trump is. It does not instill any level of confidence in me that the “general” polls don’t reflect the “general” voting bias.
