If you have an Android phone, search for launcher Mike “Nova Launcher” (its my personal Favorite ) no matter what dumb New phone, with dumb New features i never asked a dumb question about it… My phone looks and feels always like my previous one (besodes the settings under the hood) and i can Export all my settings from my old phone to my New one.

Your Partner seems to be an asshole to “threaten you” if it doesnt work out for them, they need to work on it or realize its an issue for them in a partnership and talk to you that they need something different. Yes there is an issue, but that issue is something else than you!
