Oh, I’m definitely not expecting the US to do the right thing, or even the less awful thing

I fully expect laws to be broken, people to be persecuted, and the entire system thrown into such disarray that your backwards excuse for a country becomes a dictatorship akin to Russia

But there’s a small part of me that thinks that maybe it won’t
