It took some time to dig that esper out of the ground, but now that it’s out, I presume we’ll see some significant performance gains.
I guess I’ll need to have it happen to me in order for me to actually understand why this is even a problem… I just can’t fathom caring at all.
Oh. Well okay then.
I enjoy MacOS, but I’ve got an ancient Intel Mac mini with upgraded storage and RAM back at the in-laws that I had been using as a server. Now that I’ve had the pleasure of a steam deck, I’d like to turn it into a dedicated Linux machine whenever I get the chance to grab it. It’s long past its expiration date as a Mac machine.
My wife and I speak a lot of Japanese together, so a translation wasn’t necessary. I would be kind of surprised if it didn’t work.
Oh I got the milk then eagerly rushed home to tell her enthusiastically about what had happened. She was kind enough to humor me with some feigned interest amidst her daily exercise routine, and that was that.
The adults of 15 years ago were different than the adults now.
Imagine how it must feel to be this tricky little guy: ,
I’d say it’s a good staring point for windows games in general. No guarantees they all work, or if mods work. I tried modding Sky to include the japanese voice acting and it didn’t take. Also, when i uninstalled the game, the files i added to the games folder remained there. That might just be a steam thing though.
Im actually installing Fallouts 3 and NV on my mac now to see if the Tale of Two Wastelands installer works with Whiskey as well. If so, I can try using those files to get TTW running on deck as well. Apparently a windows PC is required to make that happen, and it would be nice to offer a route for mac users as well.
Thank you. I’ll look into Lutris and Gnarly repacks when I have a day to mess around.
I found this post by doing a search for “TTW” on mbin and got lucky. YouTube and Reddit have been all but useless as tutorials all assume you have a windows pc for heavy lifting. I got a deck to be my pc.
How did you install TTW on your steam deck without a pc to run the installer? I’m willing to put up with the 12 hours if I have to.
Play in order of release so you can appreciate the evolution in game mechanics.
The way he was built in the show, sure, but he’s supposedly very irradiated, malnourished and poorly disciplined. I think the scenario of her winning that fight on makes more sense than him looking so buff in the first place.
Tbh the way some people dote on this show makes it a little intimidating to throw out a criticism.
It’s not bad, and I’ll certainly watch the whole thing, but as of the first two episodes I’m hovering around a 5-6/10.
Her introduction montage at the beginning, where she was doing all the exercises and training, didn’t do it for ya? Between the two, I thought the guy was less believable given his circumstances.
Well you tried. Try hitting the linux crowd next, they’re a bit more touchy when you try to make stuff up.
I was about to install the app until I saw that. I’ll just stick to my usual emulation machines for now.
I put mine at lowest settings, 40-45fps cap. Runs fine.
