I just watched Drag me to Hell for the first time in a decade with my wife and siblings in law a week ago. I forgot how funny and over the top it was. I ended up being the only one who finished it.

We went camping with some of my wife’s coworkers a few weeks ago and they told me to just cut meat ourselves and get a deep freeze. That started the cascade of getting a deep freeze and ending up with my in laws buying a new one and gifting us thr one we have. I’ll take a look at some vacuum sealers at this point. Any recommendations for bags?
I have noticed frost accumulation in the freezer over the last few years. I believe it was purchased during 2020 lockdown when we had the whole family living in one house, but when my father in law showed me it there was a decent amount of frost inside.
I can check for an anti frost setting, but am guessing it will become part of general maintenance correct? I was planning on redoing all the seals once we get it to help, but I am not sure if that will be enough.
Outlet is GFCI but will need to look into an alarm and generators. Thanks for the advice.
Currently we are doing Costco runs once a month for our meat, but just moved to an area with a decently priced butcher that sells by half a cow. My in-laws are wanting to do that, and seems doable for my household since we host a lot on the weekends.
Still trying to figure out meat prices and what is viable, but growing up in a family that would go in together and split a cow I know its cheaper in the long run. Just trying to make sure everyone else is onboard (splitting between me, my wife’s parents and her sisters)

Playing through Golden Sun again after picking it up and dropping it an hour in for the last few years. I remember getting into the Djinn/class system a lot when I played it growing up, and its still a pretty unique system. Having a cordless impact wrench is the dream but I just use a small commuter car and havent had the need for one yet. Might keep an eye out for one if they go on sale.
My buddy has the same car (one gen back) and was able to fit a floor jack in the spare compartment with a donut tire. Might try and see if I can get mine to fit, then I will have freed up some basement storage space.
I have a low car (13 Honda Fit) and I can see the clearance being an issue

Personally I was always confused by it. I’m a white guy who loves long clothes and rock jeans whenever I can. My dad would (still does sometimes) wear shorts when its sub 50°F. I would ask why and he said he was from Michigan so I wrote it off.
I had a few friends in middle and high school who would wear shorts year round. I never realized why and they told me they were tough and shorts look cool. After growing up and looking back on their situation they probably only owned a set of clothes for year round use.
