There’s many such nickname based on trumps fake tan. We can’t really claim superiority on the nickname thing. It IS funny though.

This is a twofold problem. One part is that your ethical beliefs aren’t compatible, one is his disregard for your needs.
Whether you can live with the first one, only you can tell. It’s valid to want to date someone who holds the same beliefs as you, and it’s valid to be ok with some ethical differences. The latter of course comes with some logistical difficulties that can be a lot to handle, maybe even too much.
The second isn’t something that’s healthy for you or the relationship. You’ll have to talk about that. If he can’t respect your needs, that’s a pretty fundamental incompatibility.
Where I live it is, because of local-ish soy production. Also helps that it’s a complete protein, so you don’t have to think as much about which amino acids you’re getting from where.
Man where were you 8 years ago when I ate zero protein because I didn’t know it could be cheap. Couldn’t afford animal products and was conditioned to believe those were the only viable source of protein.
Btw I’d like to add textured vegetable protein to the list! It’s one of my go-tos nowadays.
I’m not even in tech. I teach maths at night school to support myself while doing my masters. Somehow I’ve become the ‘computer guy’ at my job. All the teachers and even office staff ask me to explain software to them that I myself have never even used. I need to learn to say no.
A bit of a more serious comment on that: knowledge is never useless. Many, maybe most, researchers agree with that. It’s why we do what we do. Publishers and sources of funding (be they third party or governmental), however, disagree. So we have to sell them on the importance of our research this way.

If you’re going to do complex data analysis, isn’t it a pain to use ANY spreadsheet software, no matter how good? I do mine as a Jupyter notebook. The spreadsheet is just for looking at the numbers, maybe sorting some things.
Mine is: fuck it, I’m going into industry. And then I don’t.
Tbh my uni gave me a PC with no OS on it. I wasn’t going to pay for an OS for work so I installed Ubuntu. I liked it, so I also switched on my private laptop.
TLDR: it being free, then liking it
It really does sound like her mental health isn’t great right now. Maybe you’d both benefit from her seeking some form of treatment or taking care of her mental health in other ways. Does she have a support system other than you that she can vent to?
I get irritated to an irrationally high degree when someone literally only reads the headline and decides right then what their opinion is and that it needs to be shared with the world. Like they wouldn’t even have had to check out the link, it’s right in the post.
It’s a bit hard to describe. Because I’ve learned to have much more awareness oh what is happening to me when I’m experiencing sensory issues. One the one hand, this has made me hyper aware of them sometimes, which makes me sometimes hyper focus on them, making them worse. But on the other hand, I’ve learned to actually realize what is happening and get myself away from the situation, or at least practice some coping mechanisms and to practice self compassion. A bit of a two edged sword.
I feel that, I need to find the physical copies for a new psychiatrist and it’s stressing me out so much, no idea where to look
The problem is that the average working class person doesn’t have a lot of time where they also have energy and don’t have to do chores. In that state, most people aren’t receptive for learning and enjoying culture. And it’s very understandable.

I saw someone dip a chip in a tea cup at a bistro last week. The fact that I never found out what was in the tea cup haunts me.
I scrolled through this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PDA and I think pathological demand avoidance means geht be it?
Even if you cant be bothered to figure out gaming on Linux, a dual boot works like a charm. I do all my gaming on the windows partition to keep it separate from work, to avoid distraction.
You keep saying ‘clarifying what she meant’ everywhere. I just don’t get where you get that that’s what she meant. She just said she sees a bias against pro-Palestinian protesters. That’s not implying the bias has anything to do with Judaism at all.
