The sad thing is that as cars get more complicated, google is getting thousands of times worse and old forums and photobucket accounts get deleted its becoming very hard to do these days.

At the moment Im spreadsheet building a new drag car. Before I buy a single part I know if its going to go together the way I plan, what all the major parts are going to cost and what jobs Ill have to send out and what they will cost. The weights and measurements of most parts and what kind of end quarter mile results it will put me in the ballpark of.

Problem is that Nintendo for all their faults still make GREAT games for kids. And if adult pc gamers think they have it bad they should have a look at the predatory shitshow that is tablet games for the 5 and under market… its properly fucking ridiculous. At least Nintendo has the common decency to give me an amazing and full game for its eyewatering prices.

As the parent of a small child I wish I could boycott Nintendo.

And? For the price of a major service and a set of tyres on either of them I can build a EG civic that could keep up with them too doesnt make it a supercar.

When it released it was significantly cheaper than “legit” supercars that it was every bit as fast as, these days I wouldnt say its as good value as it once was, its an old platform and old tech.

Except the GTR was all wheel drive not rear wheel drive and 1:08 faster around the nurburgring than the C5 corvette which was sold at the same time.

The R35 has apparently completed the Nurburgring in 7:19.1 which puts it just behind the Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SV at 7:18.

Thats why its arguably a supercar, because it can turn up to a big dollar track day and the guys in half a million dollar german and Italian mid engined supercars might look down on you for being there in a Nissan but they also dont want to get their doors blown off by one and they know its a possibility.

To give an alternative perspective.

Dua Lipa “Levitating” has made 3.4 Million dollars on streaming revenue. Blinding Lights by The Weeknd is over double that.

Then the real success stories are the Indies. Run the Jewels only have 1.2 Billion streams but that 2 million dollars is their 2 million dollars.

Its peanuts per stream but anyone anywhere in the world can be a fan and show their support by ordering an overpriced Tshirt from the website.

Thats why RTJ drop their albums for free. The money is in fans buying merch, buying limited edition vinyl pressings, appearance fees, licencing the songs to tv and movies touring and concert appearances.

On their own label, they have absolute control of how the money is spent.
