I can use invidious but what I mean is that if Servo can play videos on Youtube then it can render like 90% of the entire internet without any weird format issues
I’m waiting for Servo to able to play YouTube videos then I’ll stop using Firefox (Floorp)
And end with Vanilla Arch, for me atleast I distro hop every week when I got into Linux for the first time and I thought I’m going to use Fedora, Debian, OpenSUSE, EndeavourOS as my main but ended up using Arch Linux permanently instead. For me it’s the “just work” distro easy to use and troubleshoot

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Welcome Dan Williams, new LibreOffice Developer focusing on UI/UX - The Document Foundation Blog
4·2 months agoI mean I got used to LO’s default UI and make me hate ribbon ui that come with MS OF and Onlyoffice, so I hope they improve on the default ui instead of replacing it (if they replace it atleast keep the old ui as a toggle)
No if you care about custom ROM you should avoid xiaomi phones like a plague, unlocking bootloader should be as simple as enable USB debugging and OEM unlock with adb flashing unlock command not with their bullshit unlocking request and dogshit “Community app”

I probably exaggerate it a bit, I do have a burning hatred towards Windows but not GTK so I don’t think I’ll switch to Windows if all Linux softwares use GTK the most I’ll do is using VM.
Probably because “neutral text” color is rarely used by other softwares and they use it to prevent conflicts
Global Theme > Color > Edit Color Scheme > Common colors > neutral text

no hatred toward GTK, but if all Linux softwares use GTK I will switch back to Windows, again no hatred toward GTK

Linux@lemmy.ml•my reason why you should use KDE+Krohnkite instead of WMs
2·4 months agoDepends on who you ask it may or may not be a con, I myself have been using it only for a week by now and for the most part it works very well it especially for a Linux newbie like me, not having to edit a config file with text editor but with GUI instead is pretty nice ( I made that gtk theme and floorp theme in the screenshot almost from scratch and it’s a huge pain in the ass, dont know if CSS is a bad language or not but it probably make me hate CSS ). So I guess it’s a pro for me
