Let’s face it. How many of us have actually contributed enough to any FOSS projects to demand for free and premium services. I personally would rather donate to a FOSS app instead of paying Sync, but it’s unfair to judge Sync for having ads and trackers when the option of removing them is there. There’s nothing wrong with any dev wanting to make a decent living or even more than that, as long as they don’t go overboard and are honest about it.

Just finished Death Stranding. It’s mostly great but somehow crashed a fair bit halfway through the game. No issues or whatsoever in early and late to end game.

Thanks for the input. What do you think of something like this?

• Universal access to healthcare, food, water, shelter, electricity, and education without cost.
• Prohibit the operation of businesses or investments in basic necessities mentioned in previous point.
• Non-essential amenities such as entertainment, fashion, travel, luxury goods etc continue to be available for purchase.
• A reasonable tax structure that ensures higher taxes for the rich.

Is that Communism? Is that too much to ask for?

I wonder if Steam (and phone makers) would make the change a universal one so that people like me who live outside of EU can enjoy the same benefits too. Good job EU.

Congrats! If you’re someone like me who owns a decent PC but no longer enjoys sitting in front of one, definitely get yourself a dock so you can hook it up to your TV. They cost around $30 and is a great investment. Just remember to take the casing off (if you use one) if you’re planning to have your games running at anything between 1080p to 4K, and use FSR to reduce the load. I find the Deck heats up a fair bit even in winter.

Owning a Steam Deck really got me back into gaming. I carry it to work to play during breaks and hook it back up to my TV when I get home.

Got the same one too. Just a quick note for anyone looking to buy one: if you’re planning to travel with it, get the 20,000mah instead of 30,000mah one to stay under the 100Wh limit for most airlines.

Steam Deck is the first taste I get of Linux. I’ve always had this fear of not being able to fully utilize a Linux OS due to my lack of skills in coding, but I find myself looking into it more ever since I got a Steam Deck. It may just be the right excuse I need to git gud in coding.

Edit: Thanks for the clarification and encouragement guys. I’m going to make it a mission to move to Linux ASAP since it feels like Windows has been really pushing the limits of privacy these days.
