You can have a look at reddthat.com or Lemmy.blahaj.zone communities from other instances and see if the downvotes count are consistent
The 36th most active instance is Lemy.lol with 143 monthly active users. Out of 47k total, that seems reasonable
Yeah, this is my “meta” alt to discuss meta topics on the fediverse.
@[email protected] is the account for the usual interests 😄
Seems like a good idea, it works well in general
[email protected] to chat with other mods / community growers
First time I hear about this, curious how other clients handle that
I’d volunteer to moderate here on the LW instance,
That’s nice of you, please note that moderation only completely works from the instance the community is hosted on. Reports are currently not propagated for instance
You need some time to adapt for sure
I do too, but most of the users probably stick to one as it’s more practical
[email protected] for people on other instances
People probably didn’t get that you were joking
I strongly recommend moving to an instance that doesn’t federate with them just personally.
The issue is that out of the 100 most active communities, 57 are on LW. Content is already scarse, without LW it’s really quiet
A third of the total LW users, no surprises there are a few bad apples
Hello,
I followed the situation from afar, good luck with [email protected] !
note, not federated with .world, make a local account)
Having a look at the instances page, it seems you defederated, which makes sense based on the current events. Lemm.ee and SJW still seem federated, so hopefully this might give an incentive to people to migrate from LW to other instances and spread Lemmy users a bit more.
lemmy.zip
Good choice!
You can use this graph to have a look at the delay between LW and your instance
Definitely not
(And it’s usually the same people everywhere)
That’s nice
I would be careful about lemmy.one
The admin has been missing for some time, a few people posted to the meta community and never got any answer
