Aw man, you’ve never been broke as fuck huh?
Well I already have the crocs, you see…
Mainly so I don’t have to put real shoes on to take out the trash tbh.
You could call it one series of books, technically.
Dude, try not to pull something stretching that hard.
You might like Remnant or Remnant 2, I think.
Nine hours of Twilight Imperium, and I hate myself for it.
Really though, it’s a lot of fun if you can get some friends to the table for the better part of a day.
Thought of a few more!
I really like these card deck boxes for games that have a lot of cards. I hate when a large stack falls over, and this solves that completely.
Pretty common knowledge, but X-Trayz are wonderful at keeping your bits and pieces organized while you play.
Lastly, this is largely subjective, but I’m a fan of these kind of card holders for games that allow a large hand limit (looking at you, Ares Expedition).
Sorry if that’s too obvious. Hopefully it helps though!
So I was looking for a way to get a foam/neoprene mat that filled my entire table, but all the ones I could find were horribly expensive. What I did find out, is that poker mats go pretty cheap. If you’re not too particular about how you want the mat to look, it’s a great solution.
A couple of my friends are really bad about this. It’s like wasting my time is a sport to them lol. No part of me wants to kick them repeatedly in the shins for being 2 hours late to something for eternity. No part at all…
Hey, good on you for being pretty cool about things overall. I like that about lemmy, we all seem to ultimately want to understand each-other and get along.
We get that in Indiana too, but it’s pretty difficult to adjust to a 30 - 40 degree drop in temperature over a short period of time. We get into the negatives (especially in the north where I am), but it’s usually a gradual drop throughout winter.
Never really understood gate-keeping being cold though, kinda weird.
Definitely give Parks a try, it’s a personal favorite of ours. I also recommend Cascadia and Tiny Epic Galaxies.
That helps a ton! Thanks a bunch, I have a bit of a better idea how to navigate everything. Hope you have a good time if you make it!
Ah great point. I’ll go tell my clinical insomnia all we need is more sleep.
This year they came out in droves, to the point where their sound was ear-splitting and drowned out most of the cars on the major road I live on. The sound is one of the worst things I have ever heard (intense bug phobia)… so yeah, fuck everything about this.
