This dude(ette) globalizes.
This dude(ette) globalizes.
Ugh I don’t know which is worse. Next timeline, portal gun.
How often exactly does that happen? At worst what we’ve seen so far is either the shooter goes to the “sensitive place” next door where carry is prohibited or if a good guy stops the shooter and is still holding a weapon when the cops roll up, the good guy gets killed on sight.
I’m curious about what inaccurate perceptions you think they’re pushing and what their agenda is.
Is their agenda… preventing needless death?
Foundational assumptions about this debate. A political party that’s half of a government that killed 20,000,000 civilians in other countries over the last century is trying to convince you that you’d be better off without the ability to arm yourself to defend against rapists and the second amendment never had anything to do with discouraging tyranny here.
The problem is normalization. The only-government-can-have-guns crowd pushes inaccurate perceptions to advance the agenda.
Black with a gun? Definitely get shot. White with a gun? Maybe get shot. Holding a gun at a place where someone did something with a gun? 110% you’re getting shot.
This all while about 50% of Americans own guns. It’s not like you simply assume every male is a rapist and kill them on sight just in case, or more accurately to my analogy charge every male within some distance of a rape occurring with a felony and put them on a list for life just to be safe.
Tool cabinets are a marvelous thing. I have a little thing squirreled away in a drawer of other tools, just the top of a box that a screen protector came in, that is just full of tiny specialized precision tools that I very seldom need.
WTF are people supposed to do? No way anyone’s intervening to save you when it puts a target on their fucking back, and cops have zero duty to protect you.
Really dislike people pulling the “where was the good guy with the gun” card when someone who fights a gunman unarmed and wins still gets shot by the cops, and the cop goes away unscathed. Obscene that literally the only reason anything happened to him in this case was him blabbing racist shit.
Literally everyone else who gets emotional and misbehaves gets shot, or institutionalized, or at a bare minimum felonies that deprive them of certain rights for the rest of their lives.
Instead of giving him a tax payer funded handout this could have been an opportunity to fix a thing. Fuck that guy.
Don’t worry, an MS13 member and a school shooter once walked across that border together so it’s okay because it’s definitely for everyone’s safety.
"I would love to live here"photo looks like a typical suburb - with a population density that is at a level where everyone still needs to own a car. I’m thinking European cities like Bern. Most people don’t need one to get to work but basically every household still needs one for non-work use.
Car-free population density should be more like minor Japanese cities (like Kanazawa, etc), or old towns in Europe (downtown Bordeaux).
Palmetto State Armory is a huge business. It’s like saying Costco is the choice purveyor of moms raising mass shooters and that CVS is the choice purveyor of personal care products and racist Christmas decor to white nationalist mass shooters. I’m sure Amazon would support this sort of PsyOp.
Hot damn, BUT I question American face values specifically because it’s conflating a second epidemic: overdoses are often recorded as suicide when it’s not a clear accident like a medical interaction with prescriptions - it’s up to the coroner.
Access is about more than billing.
In the US you need to wait multiple months to see a specialist, about 9 where i live as a new patient, and/or pay massively out of pocket for a private specialist ( $300-1000 per session).
Your other option is to say you’re thinking of killing yourself, but this is a direct route to involuntary care which red-flags you and gets your guns confiscated with virtually no hope of having your rights restored, as well as a record that gets in the way of getting a new job, housing, etc.
So, if you’re the average depressed person, have zero friends and have non-zero guns, you’re kind of on an island.
These are all things having little to do with suicide: Japan completely disarmed everyone outside of government in the 90’s, and they have better access to healthcare than Americans, but suicide rates only grew. Attention needs to be on root causes, like the explosive rise in loneliness and identifying how to repair some of the social changes brought on by a complete paradigm shift to how humans share information and interact with one another.
Woah, only USD 12 for a GENUINE fake cracked copy someone first downloaded from a torrent?
Because we’ve done a bad job of reconciling everything popular culture tells you it means to be a man or manly or sexually attractive with everything popular culture also says is outdated or wrong or cringe or even which you’ll be ostracized or even punished. Also the latter is a moving target while the former is not. It’s not surprising they choose to listen to non-conflicting voices, and it’s lazy to just blame Republicans as if there’s nothing for the left to learn from and improve on other than ways to beat Republicans.
People keep saying this. They’ve been saying this for decades. Other countries keep having bigger problems first, I think it’s just because you see all of America’s dirty laundry while virtually all other countries governments take more steps to control the flow of information.
I would totally pay for YouTube premium if they weren’t so good about making me watch my favorite gun-tubers on other platforms. Every channel has this endless and constantly changing list of words they can’t say for fear of being demonetized.
Fuck them indeed.
Break up the monopoly and I won’t need to block your ads because I’ll be able to go elsewhere.
