Maybe if you live in an apartment or dorm where your gaming PC is in your living room.

I used to use Steam link with my desktop but I find the experience of docking the steam deck way more reliable.
I am surprised there aren’t more local multiplayer games on the list. The steam deck is great hooked up to a TV with multiple controllers
I am somewhat neutral on her, when she was introduced I kind of felt she was a gender swapped bones to setup the bones / spock dynamic but with data.
Sadly the only thing I remember her for is being mean to data, getting rapidly aged, and replacing Picard’s heart, that is 3 out of 22 episodes she is credited in.
For me Crusher vs Pulaski somewhat comes down to bedside manner/ compassion. Pulaski just comes across as a bit blunt and prickly at times and Pulaski just has fewer memorable episodes due to only having the one season.
Interesting how MS is the reasonable one here where all their copilot stuff clearly separates paying business from free consumer stuff for training / not training.
However slack has gone and said they will train on everything, and ONLY the paying companies can request to opt out.
Too bad so sad for all those small dev teams that have been using the “free” version of slack… No option to opt out.
You game in desktop mode? I can give it a shot, but performance always seems kind of wonky in desktop mode when outputting to my TV
How exactly did you start remote play together with Shredders revenge? In some games it is part of the in game invite option, for others I have tried just triggering it from the steam menu while the game is running as I didn’t see a native option. For shedders revenge when I triggered it from the menu none of the controllers appeared for mapping.
128 GB has been more than enough for me for over 8years ? I haven’t gotten a phone with more than that… I am currently at 72GB/128GB storage and most of that is Apps. I do go and archive photos and videos off my phone from time to time however.
If you NEVER delete anything, sure, you will run out. Or if you are super heavy into photos and video maybe but it is still A LOT of storage on a phone.
I would remove them and pair them again. They are 3 separate devices 2 pods and a case. It is possible they can get in a state where one of the items isn’t correctly associated with find my and is treated at not the owners device. This is also important to fix if you ever what to use find my to find the individual parts.
All I can think of is the sequence in robocop of all the failed robocop experiments.
You can pair switch joycons to a steam deck as Bluetooth controllers, only issue is you need to remember to power them off.
Personally the only strain I found is the joy cons are so damn small, I prefer to current xbox controllers (also Bluetooth) as I find them comfortable even though they are not separate.
We already had both types of controller in our house we just use what ever works best on our Steamdeck at the time.
I think a variation on the multi community might be a good idea but implemented differently.
Community’s could opt into a meta community (somethings that are the same name arn’t the same thing).
Then on the user client side when you subscribe you can choose to subscribe to the meta community. When your feed is constructed it doesn’t include de-federated etc. when you post it is via your instance to the meta community and a shortcut is posted to all the meta community members, and replies go to your meta post in your instance.
These existed shortly after the iPhone came out under the presumption people would miss the physical keys from blackberries. They didn’t sell well back then I don’t think they will now.
Ecobee is fully local via homekit… Your internet can be off and the homekit commands will be sent local. You can also control everything from its screen locally if your internet is down.
Initial setup (first time powering it up) and use of the Ecobee app require internet.
X claimed Media Matters “manipulated” the social media platform by using accounts that exclusively followed accounts for major brands or users known to produce fringe content and “resorted to endlessly scrolling and refreshing” the feed until it found ads next to extremist posts.
Media Matters’ report misrepresented the typical experience on X “with the intention of harming X and its business”, the company said in the lawsuit.
If I hand someone a set of bullet notes and ask them to send out a notice in writing to the company. They are going to convert those notes into paragraphs and sentences… Not just send out the notes.
Also MS already has a module for teams that will take the conversation transcript, and output action items based on the conversation… It is like having a note taker during the meeting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1gpkk-MwpY
Just like the executives assist that was tasked with scanning documents. And LLM can likely safely and quickly do many people tasks:
There are a lot of human language job tasks that have zero imagination required just the ability to read summarize and write some proper English.
Robots / automation have replaced so many human physical labor jobs, even large dumb heavy machinery.
Language models replacing mundane human language tasks is hardly surprising.
I have replaced entire employee jobs with scrips / code, there are a lot of very basic jobs out there.
Gamers Nexus They Changed Everything: Valve Steam Deck OLED vs. LCD Tear-Down points out WAY more changes, they refreshed A LOT of the components. Completely new main board etc.
I suspect that since the borg needed such detailed info on picards body and they altered starfleet transporters that it only would work on “known” species in the federation databases.
Ultimately the assimilated just needed to out number and overwhelm the older old un effected backed up by complete computer ship control of all federation vessels. The plan never needed total assimilation.
SO my answer is that they would probably be immune.
