Have you considered using docker to install it as a container? I haven’t used this one specifically but run all my *arr apps as docker containers which avoids these dependency type issues.

It looks like it’s in a binary format and is printing control characters because it isn’t a format intended to be viewed/edited. You could try opening it in a hex editor and see if you can make any sense from that.

You can put whatever you wish inside of YAS-BDSM as long as everyone is having a good time.
