The fact that your mind went immediately there is a little worrying… Is everything alright?
And I’m not shaming you or being sarcastic, just talk with someone if what I’m saying is true

Thanks for caring, I have a support network. I am just saying that a lot of people are sensitive to these kinds of materials.

How do you know? It’s better just to leave certain things off the table

No, it’s a science community, lot’s of chemicals are dangerous and the human body is fragile. If someone is at the point where a meme like the above has an impact on them, then they shouldn’t subscribe to this community

In fact I don’t know, the only thing that I do know is expecting that every other human is going to have your same sensibility is a recipe for frustration.
I lerned that the hard way

Sure, I just wanted to note it and it’s clear that I am in the minority.

A while back someone shared how to make cyanide at home and I also reacted the same way. I just don’t see what value such a post has. But I also see that that’s different from this one.

That carbon monoxide kills? Like everybody doesn’t already know that?

if naming a common chemical that can cause poisoning immediately makes your mind go to suicide methods, dont go to the communities that name common chemicals

I mean, you can even suicide on water (inb4 dihydrogen monoxide memes). This is just normal biology of a normal thing in the world.

Heck, forget water: you can even suicide on the ground below your feet. It’s just usually lots more work.
