Arizonans can use the new Smart ID Verifier app to buy alcohol at participating bars and retailers. The state-approved app provides an added layer of security by not displaying address or date of birth information, but it's not clear how many establishments are set up to use it.

They’ve had the AZ Mobile ID app for a few years now, and almost every single place doesn’t see it as valid.
I fear the “business owner class” is still far too conservative, old-fashioned, and tech-hostile for this to work.
