I used to love to play around with my FireStick until Amazon locked it down. Then I got a Chromecast I loved until Googled locked it down. I’ve come to the conclusion that the best Media center is just an old Linux computer attached to a TV the way God intended
Smarttube next is for Android TV. Works very well. Sometimes you do need to update (can be done in-app) after YouTube decides to break third party apps.
Unfortunately, youtube is mostly a TV thing for me. Very hard to ad block on smart tvs
