Hi, as soon as I noticed this was a thing I headed to this community to let anyone else know that you can use the newest sort types in the Sync for Lemmy app with that nice workaround… But I just found a lot of “Sink and Sync threads” here that I actually thought the sort bugged my app/feed lol, what a good timing.
Anyway I hope this is useful for you guys until the new update arrives… Soon ^TM

I got a 100mb Sync update yesterday.

Just because you haven’t gotten it doesn’t mean that it hasn’t happened.
Still pretty sure your lying developer has not pushed an update so idk why you would get one. Its not a matter of me getting an update its a matter of if there is one which there isnt. The developer would post if they were updating which they aren’t. Something is fishy here imo
I mean, I think this workaround works for other apps which do not support it yet either.
I wouldn’t say we desperately need said update, but it would be cool nonetheless.
Great tip, I’ve been using this since Scaled sort was announced but it’s awesome to give this more visibility since it’s not intuitive that it would work.
