I would rather provide a link/credit to where I found it. Unfortunately reddit is a place that incentivises and encourages people to repost without care/credit to the original.
It isn’t much different to 9gag, or any other website either to be honest.
This is a moral choice but I don’t think there is a right answer here.
In fighting isn’t very productive either way. This is the most I’ll probably discuss it here. I’m listening to the advice given to me by @[email protected] because I think it’s a good balance.
I want to make lemmy & the fediverse the best it can be and not follow in the footsteps of other platforms. Reddit specifically but not limited to reddit.
