This man was killed on November 29, 2022, almost a year ago, and police still haven’t even released the names of the cops who did it.
If I kidnapped a man with known mental health issues and then killed him when he tried to escape, I would face the entire strength of the judicial system.
But if I slap a badge on my chest, not only are there no repercussions but the system will actively protect me from any sort of persecution or consequences.
It confuses me as an outsider why Americans spend so much time shooting kids instead of cops.

Because any time anyone who is left of center mentions he or she has guns, they get dogpiled by people calling them killers and telling them they don’t need guns, they can just call the police.
