Full announcement below (emphasis mine):

Get ready for around-the-clock anime, because Crunchyroll announced the launch of a new 24/7 channel. Anime is on the menu all the time on the Crunchyroll channel, which will be available first via Amazon Freevee, LG Channels (available on LG Smart TVs), The Roku Channel and VIZIO WatchFree+.

The network will include English-dubbed programing at launch with a bunch of fan-favorites making an appearance. Among the featured series are:

  • Horimiya
  • Ranking of Kings
  • Moriarty the Patriot
  • PSYCHO–PASS
  • Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest
  • Sugar Apple Fairytale
  • To Your Eternity
  • Code Geass

The channel is a collaboration between Crunchyroll and GSN. Look for other promotional, genre and themed programming blocks to be scheduled to give viewers a taste of the varied anime coming out of Japan.

I’m cautiously optimistic. A curated playlist of anime to try and create new anime fans seems like it could be good? I guess it is hitting people in that mood of when you open up all your streaming options, see hundreds of things you can watch, then spend 20 minutes browsing, then have an existential crisis because you realized you just wasted 20 minutes looking for something to do.
