Nearly a thousand treasonous rioters were convicted and needed to be pardoned by the Criminal-in-Chief
Apparently this made @[email protected] mad enough to downvote this whole post.
catloaf downvotes almost everything.
You’re not wrong.

Y’all care way too much about imaginary Internet points
I’m more interested in behaviors than upvotes/downvotes and davel’s observation is fascinating.

The clown struggles with reality again. I’ve found it’s not even worth my time engaging with him.
Were you the one who called them a clown and got the comments removed cause you hurt their feelings?
Sure was lol. It’s his name afterall!
I know.
It’s like if they got butthurt if you called them Chuckles.
Why aren’t you just blocking Hilarious Chaos?
I haven’t posted there in about three months.

Here’s the removed comment with the ‘moderator’ in question.
Yeah, sorry mate, but this is BPR.
You went trolling and got a bite.
I actually wasn’t involved in that conversation I just found it to be an abuse of Chuckle’s power.

I don’t trust the courts, I don’t believe in the laws, and I would not empower government thugs to shoot any protesters including babbit.
but if you can show a cop was murdered j6 I would look at your evidence.
at this point, I think ydi
the medical examiner reported that Sicknick had no injuries, and died of natural causes.[
but later commented that “all that transpired played a role in his condition”.[9][4][13] The ruling was criticized by some expert neurologists, who argued that stress resulting from the insurrection at the Capitol may have caused the stroke.
that’s not murder
Felony murder, also known as the felony murder rule, is a legal doctrine that makes a person liable for murder if someone dies during the commission of a felony, even if the person didn’t intend to kill anyone.
that’s not what happened in this case
In the first year following the January 6th Capitol riot, 391 individuals were charged with felonies, while 325 were charged with misdemeanors. Among those who pleaded guilty, 32% (327) were charged with felonies, and 68% (682) with misdemeanors. More than 1,500 individuals have been charged with federal crimes related to the riot, with many receiving sentences, including incarceration, probation, or fines.
Felonies + death during felonies = felony murder
Says who?
if you think that’s murder, we can’t agree on what murder is.
the crime of unlawfully and unjustifiably killing a person
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/murder
Seems to fit the definition to me. It was unlawful, unjust, and killed him.
Disengage.
What are your feelings on “castle doctrine”?
it doesn’t apply to government thugs in public buildings
Content censorship but you were shilling pretty hard, I think that’s what got them triggered
Anything less than complete loyalty to Trump is triggering to those snowflakes.
I understand why they have their safe spaces.

@[email protected] why was this removed for being off topic?
It did not break any of the community or instance rules and it was furthering the conversation that was forming in the comments.
Stay in the topic of the post. Starting slap fights about downvotes is not in scope of his comm.
I’ve never cared about downvotes much less tried to start slap fights about them I was interested what a publicly accessible private Lemmy community was.
With your permission because I’d have to be reposting moderated content I’d like to create a new post about this to leave it to the community to vote if that comment was off topic based on the context or not.
Holy shit don’t you have anything better to do? Whatever, post away about the injustice that happened today
Thank you this is the most exciting thing that’s happened to me all day and possibly all week.
You can read the mod log. No reason to harass anyone when the reason is already spelled out.
But since you want to take screenshots and question my instance.
It’s effectively a single user instance. That is what I mean by private lemmy instance. I have a handful of users on my instance that are all people I directly know. The implication is that I will not accept general people signing up to my instance, thus “private”.
No one is being harassed here I’m asking about a moderator action in a community about moderator actions.
Off-topic is not a rule of the community or dozer0’s instance and amusingly enough it’s the same reasoning as the OP’s comment’s removal.
Off-topic is not a rule of the community
Uhh you sure about that chief?
Post only about bans or other sanctions that you have received from a mod or admin.
It’s right there… first rule. My sidebar of my instance has nothing to do with this post, or mods, or admins, or any sanctions you would receive.
You got but hurt that I (and somebody else) downvoted you and then started asking questions about my instance, without even tagging me to ask me… That’s literally the definition of off topic. That is the reason it was removed. What more discussion would tagging db0 net you?
BTW… I downvoted you because I didn’t think the comment actually further discussion and specifically shuts down any meaningful discussion. Not sure what the verbiage in my sidebar has to do with any of that.
It was a comment not a post and it was on topic in the topics that were naturally forming in the comments.
