    I had a Sound Blaster 16 in my computer from about that year. Had totally forgotten that sound cards were almost as prevalent as video cards.

      I think it depends entirely on the card, I’ve seen some cards for sale for absurd money but it’s mostly the rare or high end cards. There might still be value in the low end stuff, the vintage computer scene is weird.
