My craziest prediction: iMessage for Android
That’d be great, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.
IIRC they openly stated in an interview that iMessage is one of people’s greatest incentives to stick to the Apple ecosystem, and they have no plans of shooting themselves in the foot by releasing it on android.
Apple said they will not release a stylus and then they did.
One can still hope. They were already doing small optimizations with the help of Google. And with all the blue bubble talk lately, they might have had another meeting about it.
Well, that is already possible with tools such as Matrix isn’t it?
I heard it has some disadvantages. I don’t use Android, I just want my friends to be able to use iMessage without any hassle.

Lol, after denial of iMessage relevance in EU to be sure do not have to apply to the interoperability law enforced by by EU, I doubt.

For a mere $300 a month “iOS on Android” subscription, Android users may have iMessage and message other iOS users as if they were a proper Blue Bubble.
