Prominent Republican lawmakers and conservative think tanks have proposed cuts and other harmful policy changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) that could gain traction in Congress this year. These changes would cut food assistance across the U.S., making it harder for millions of people to buy the groceries they need to eat a healthy diet.

Unfortunately, the people they hate and hurt will still vote for them because those people turn to their leaders (fox news, Trump, etc.) and are told that anyone left leaning is actually to blame.

The less money wage slaves have, the easier they are to control. 6 fucking dollars to help someone get through their day and the richest country in the world says that’s too much.

If they keep pushing people like this though, they have to choose between food or a roof over their heads–then what? Scores of homeless in a society that is increasingly hostile to them.

This is not going to end well.

I think they want more homeless people.

Cut programs that help people who are struggling.

        More people become homeless.

        Make homelessness illegal.

        Jail the homeless.

        Private prisons profit.

Make the prisoners work for free or $5 a day or whatever.

Corporations get free or low cost labor == more profits.
