Experts on antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections urged Congress to pass legislation that would address the issues that lead to so-called superbugs - infections that translate to about 100 Americans dying daily from some form of infection that gets around the antibiotics available.

@[email protected] - Totally unintentional on my part. I’m simply using their “local politics” RSS feed and it’s including national politics a lot. I actually just sent an email to them yesterday on the matter to see if there is a better way to get “local only” politics.

Otherwise I can likely code the solution into the bot, but it’s gonna be an ugly thing that cross compares articles with the “local” feed and only posts those. Just haven’t had the time for it.

Makes sense. Hopefully, they tighten up that RSS feed. Thanks.

Well, I fixed it in the bot code (I think). Basically I tell the bot that the “local politics” feed is the common items between the Politics feed and the Local News feed.

This is basically the inverse of the bot’s settings for the Tucson News community where the local feed is fetched, and then items in the politics feed are excluded.
