  • Installed Decky LSFG-VK on the steamdeck recently, so I’ve been going around my library testing different games.

Played about 20 hours of starfield till i got to neon, varying between 80-100+ fps outside of a few areas like new atlantis that would choke my NV3080 as well. Went into a club and was reminded why I abandoned the game in the first place. It wasn’t the poor optimization or the recycled gameplay. It was the fact that the game felt like there were no consequences, generic and hollow with absolutely no meaningful innovation. I really wanted to like it.

Moved on to Shadow of Mordor. Been having a blast.

  • Make sure you follow the install instructions. You have to download the Decky-lsfg-vk.zip file and install it using decky developer options. Also have to have Lossless Scaling from steam installed. I could not get Lossless Scaling to run at all no matter what version of proton I tried. So i disabled proton compatibility altogether for Lossless Scaling. I think it just needs to be there.

I had other steam Launch Options and I couldnt get get it to work until I put the ~/lsfg right before %command%.

I also uninstalled Decky LSFG-VK with the very bottom button and reinstalled and both Lossless Scaling Installed and lsfg-vk installed turned green with a checkmark.

I also disabled every toggle and set the plugin to 2X.

Then it worked. So far the only toggle I have enabled is Performance Mode and Flow Scale is at 80%.

    Hope that helps.

  • The band[s] that jumps out at me when I think unique/original is anything that Les Claypool touches. It’s never just him but he has a knack for finding people with unusual talent to make something different. Even when they are doing covers. For example the Frog Brigade doing Pink Floyd’s Animals.

    Tom Waits*

    The Pixies*

    Portishead*

Kruder & Dorfmeister the K&D Sessions

    Massive Attack*

But maybe the most uniquely gifted musician on my list would be Richard David James.
