Hope it’s not those long loans with optional buy clause they will never trigger
His contract doesnt end until 2025 (according to transfermarkt), he can do with another mildly successful season on loan and perhaps integrate him if he keeps improving or sell him for a large fee later on
I wonder if part of the thinking with spending so much this summer was that they’d get a nice return on Balogun or someone else and thus a loan isn’t really on the cards.
