DHS has faced pushback from Republicans in its drive to quickly scale up immigrant detention to 92,600 people by September, yet Republicans also cheered Trump’s 2024 campaign rhetoric on deportation and voted to return him to the White House and in Congress last year.
So its either
- ICE are doing such a shit job folks can’t claim they just want illegal criminals out because its obvious ICE can’t get that right, or
- NIMBY’ism is more important than racism.
After dictatorship’s begun, then the true scale of what ICE is intended to be, will become visible.

All the not-citizen immigrants in the US right now can’t possibly justify the magnitude of investment they’re putting into their capability.

After dictatorship’s birth, all non-Republicans will be de-naturalized, & suddenly then ICE’s REAL purpose will be visible.
