Not enough. Anyone else who fucks with a police dog gets dealt with as if they’d fucked with a human police officer.
This is why working dogs are always a higher rank than their human handlers. At the very least it would be assaulting a superior officer. What a piece of shit.
Doesn’t matter what rank the dog is if the punishment for killing it and hiding the body is barely anything.

That’s pretty fucked up. Usually those dog handlers get really attached to their dogs, to the point of some committing suicide if the dog dies in line of duty. On top of that, most other cops won’t tolerate abusing a police dog, so I’m surprised his fellow cops didn’t get some vigilante justice in.

There’s a video out there of a cop grabbing thier K9 by the throat, lifting it up in the air, and slamming it against the cop car a few times.
These guys don’t think of other people as human, they don’t care about dogs.
