The community runs on the latest version of Lemmy.
At first some house rules
These basic house rules apply on all sub-forums on this instance.
- No spreading of fake news or misinformation.
- Sexually explicit or violent media must be marked as sensitive when posting.
- No racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, or casteism.
- No incitement of violence or promotion of violent ideologies.
- No harassment, dogpiling or doxxing of other users.
- No illegal content.
About Federation
What does this federation mean?
It means Lemmy is using a protocol (Activitypub) which makes it possible for all Lemmy servers to interact.
- You can search and view communities on remote servers from here
- You can create posts in remote communities
- You can respond to remote posts
- You will be notified (if you wish) of comments on your remote posts
- You can follow Lemmy users/communities on other platforms that also use Activitypub (like Mastodon, Calckey etc)
Please note that a server only starts indexing a server/community once it has been interacted with by a user of this server.

Geddit.social is one of the many servers hosting the Lemmy software. It was started on June 18st, 2023 by @[email protected], who is also running https://mstdn.social, https://masto.ai and others.
